Explorer Post #88

At this time, the Hy-View Fire company regrets to announced the disbanding of

Explorer Post #88.

    The explorer post, is a Boy Scouts of America sanctioned group.  It is open to boys and girls between the ages of 14 and 18.  They meet every other Tuesday.  The meetings are a combination of Group Meetings, Training Classes and Group Activities.  There are a minimum of 2 adult advisors supervising all activities. Explorers participate in many activities including:

• EMS Training

• Hands-On Firematic Training   

• Organized Inter Post Competitions

• Summer Picnics & Holiday Celebrations

EMS Training

The Explorers are lectured on the importance

of and the proper filing of

PCRs or Pre-Hospital Care Reports

SCBA & Entry Training

Utilizing a storage garage and Non-Toxic Simulated

Smoke, the Explorers train in entry.  All of the training is

directly supervised by Officers and Advisors.
