2007 Fireman's Night at Erie County Fair
The Hy-View Fire Company, had a dugout set up on the infield, along with various fire companies from across the county. Families enjoyed food, games and fun. At night, the members marched in the annual fireman's parade.
2007 Family Picnic
All members of the Hy-View Fire Company, both Active and Exempt, as well as the members of Explorer post 88 and their families are invited to this annual event. There were clowns performing magic, making balloon animals and face painting. The children enjoyed pony rides and a bounce house. Top this off with food and games, made for an afternoon of fun.
The Hy-View Fire Company, along with the U-Crest and Cleve Hill Fire Companies attended a drill at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The USAF flew in casualties, who were then off loaded and triaged.
The Hy-View Fire Company has a long standing tradition of escorting Santa through the district, handing out suckers to the Children
2004 Fall Semester Scholarships The Hy-View Fire Company handed out its first two scholarships, to its members for the fall of 2004 semester. Congratulations to the following receivers: Alex Krawczwk - Brad Walters - ECC - Business Administration
2005 Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen Convention Ken Hauser was selected by the Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen's Award Committee to receive the Outstanding Service Award - 31-40 Years. He will receive the award at the 2005 Convention.

Maryvale Intermediate School Flag Day W/ U-Crest Fire Department Members of the Hy-View Fire Company, joined the members of the U-Crest Fire Company, to raise a flag for Flag day at Maryvale Intermediate School. The students made patriotic floats and costumes, forming a parade, under the flag. All of the members and their families are invited to attend the family functions at the firehall. During the Easter Egg hunt, the children look for hidden eggs, in order to win prizes. All kids in attendance receive an Easter basket. The ladies auxiliary works with the children, during an arts and crafts session, creating holiday decorations. Fill The Boot - Helping the Victims of 9-11 Shortly after the 9/11 attacks, Hy-View Firefighters, participated in a Town Wide "Fill the Boot" Donation Drive. Hy-View collected over $10,000. The town fire companies collected over $125,000 combined. All of the donations were presented to members of FDNY, by several members of the Pine Hill Fire Company, who represented all of the Cheektowaga Fire Companies. |
